I am pleased to announce the establishment of the Public Foundation “Fizmat Endowment Fund,” which was officially launched on April 13, 2017, to support and develop the Republican Physics and Mathematics School (FIZMAT).

The Fizmat Endowment Fund is a capital fund formed through contributions from FIZMAT alumni, parents of students, and all those who care about our alma mater. It is important to note that the collected contributions will not be spent but instead accumulated and passed on from generation to generation throughout the school's lifetime. Only the investment income generated from the fund will be used for FIZMAT’s development needs.

Endowment funds have traditionally been one of the most effective tools for non-budgetary financing of educational institutions. Leading universities and schools worldwide have decades of experience with such funds, making them leaders in the global education market. Notably, the ranking of these institutions often depends significantly on the participation rate — the proportion of students and alumni actively contributing to their endowment funds.

Our fund is building its capital with the goal of ensuring the financial stability of our school. This will enable us to attract the best educators, provide scholarships to talented students, and improve the school's material and technical infrastructure.

The Fizmat Endowment Fund is at the beginning of its journey, and we hope that everyone who cares about FIZMAT will contribute to its growth and development.
